Rocking the Ocean Of Love Billboard Radiothon Jersey Rock Kick-Off Show on 9/18!
Indigo Sky will join forces with Soraia and Intruder 424 on Monday, September 18 for a great cause. The Ocean Of Love Billboard Radiothon Jersey Rock Kick-Off Show hits 1331 Hooper Avenue in Toms River at approximately 6:00 p.m. that day.
The bands will perform below a four-story billboard that Gotts will live atop for four days as RAT Radio attempts to raise over $109,000.00 for Ocean Of Love, a non-profit that provides financial and emotional support to Ocean County families with children battling cancer. Indigo Sky released this statement regarding the upcoming performance:
“We hope to put on a good show September 18th as it’s for a good cause,” Lanza sasid. “We have some new material we’ve been working on and we are slowly growing into a new set for our live shows. We are working to bring something new and unique to our live performances.

We have no doubt Indigo Sky will rock the parking lot in epic fashion. Over the past year, they have established themselves as a Rock powerhouse on the local scene. Their following continues to grow and they are regularly tapped by The Stone Pony to open for national touring acts. Earlier this month they opened for Almost Queen and Lez Zeppelin at the legendary Asbury Park venue.
Indigo Sky has accomplished much with the power of their “Moonrise From Saturn” EP. It’s a killer collection of original tracks that perfectly showcases the band’s versatility and songwriting capabilities. Speaking on the release lead guitar player Michael Lanza said:
“Moonrise From Saturn” is our first EP which we released in November of 2022. It was our first real attempt at recording our own music. The record was entirely self produced and recorded at home with whatever gear we had laying around. For now, we are in the mindset of a new release for the future and we plan to take our sound in a direction that people will enjoy.
You can find “Moonrise From Saturn” on all streaming platforms. Check out your options HERE.
One of the stand-out tracks from the EP is “Reality Frog.” Check out Indigo Sky performing it live at The Stone Pony below!

Here Are My Top 9 Supergroups Of All Time
Hey, Rat Rockers here at the Rat we all love rock music and decided to show our love and appreciation to the rock artist who decided to join up with others and form other bands that rocked our eardrums out and put smiles on our faces.
Sometimes it is always good to hear front men or women sing with another band or even guitarists, bassists, and drummers all coming together to come up with such good tunes.
I’m sure there are a lot more than 9 Supergroups and we want you to add some more if you don’t see your favorite on this list. I myself love all types of music and hearing other bands joining up together to make awesome music and maybe it is because they can’t say or play what they want to,
I know off the top of my head the voice of an angel and never forgotten Chris Cornell always rocked out with other artists and what a thrill it was to see him come out and sing with other bands.
The crowd would go nuts when he came out to sing with the also-gone but never forgotten Chester Bennington and Linkin Park when they did the legendary song “Crawling.” I know they did not form a group it was just amazing to see.

I came up with 9 because we are a 9-in-row rock station and it seemed like just about the right number. Thank you for taking the time out to read this post and always rocking out with me and 95.9 The Rat.
Check out more of my stories just by clicking right HERE. Much love and cheers, and hope you enjoy this list now let’s see if you agree with this list and here we go check it out.- Gotts
