“Hand In Glove” Vinyl Release Show Rocks The Wonder Bar on September 9!
Matt O’Ree has had his hand on the wheel for a multiple-decade musical journey. His vehicle, Matt O’Ree Band, runs like a vintage Pontiac Trans-AM. It’s a well-oiled, timeless beauty of a machine that never fails to turn heads. And now, with his co-pilot Eryn riding shotgun, he’s ready to muscle through many more miles.
Matt O’Ree Band’s latest album “Hand In Glove” is the next stop on a long and winding road that includes a BB King Guitar Championship, international touring as a member of Bon Jovi, and an epic homecoming that celebrated the release of 2016’s “Brotherhood.”
The album featured blistering guitar solos, a highly accessible sound, and guest appearances from Bruce Springsteen and David Bryan. It was a truly next-level composition.
Following the release of the acclaimed “Brotherhood” album, Matt O’Ree Band went through something of a retooling. The band increased its horsepower, added some new tires, and finished it off with a fine coat of paint.
The words “renaissance” and “restoration” come to mind, but perhaps the term best suited to describe M.O.B’s latest model is “culmination.” The path the band took to get to their new album “Hand In Glove” was a high-octane creative journey that perfectly assembled every great element the group had to offer. “Hand In Glove” is without a doubt Matt O’Ree Band’s showroom release.
Matt O’Ree Band’s latest album “Hand In Glove” was released on digital and CD back in November. This September it will hit the road in the format it was intended for: vinyl. Speaking of the pressing, Matt O’Ree said:
“It was such a great experience to go down this road with vinyl. Fans of our band are interested in it and we decided to do it. Its so to cool to hear it. It’s not heavily compressed like a digital format. The pressing and the printing of the art work… I can’t wait get it out to the public.”
