Our Superb Dining Experience at Freehold’s Cheesecake Factory

A few days ago, Bruce and I headed out for lunch to the Cheesecake Factory at Freehold Raceway Mall -  I had to pick up a few things at the mall, so we were right near the place.

I don’t go to the Cheesecake Factory very often, because it’s dangerously decadent. I’d be 50 lbs heavier if I went more than once a year.

It’s a food paradise where practically everything on the menu looks outrageously good.

One of the standout dishes we ordered was the Korean Fried Cauliflower, it was covered in a sweet and spicy sauce. This delectable appetizer combines deep fried crispy cauliflower florets with a flavorful sauce that perfectly balances sweetness and spiciness. It’s topped with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. I’m shocked that I didn’t lick the plate clean.

For my main dish I chose the Thai Chicken Salad, it is a must-try. It had a decent amount of satay chicken strips, along with rice noodles, lettuce, carrots, bean sprouts, cucumbers, cilantro, and peanuts tossed in a zesty Thai vinaigrette, this salad is a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that will entice you to grab a to go order so you can have it for dinner.

Bruce was craving a hearty burger, so he ordered the Cheesecake Factory’s Smokehouse BBQ Burger and boy did that do the trick. It was a towering creation with a very juicy beef patty topped with crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, lots of crispy onion strings and  a tangy BBQ Ranch sauce. Every bite was an explosion of smoky flavors that really satisfied his deep craving.

It was my first time at the Freehold location.  Their menu is ridiculous! They offer an extensive menu filled with so many different items, you have a difficult time deciding what to order.

Whether you are looking for something savory or simply want to indulge your sweet tooth, they got you covered.

Now on to the cheesecake. The Chocolate Caramelicious Cheesecake made with Snickers and a brownie crust needs 2 glasses of milk.

Bruce is a huge fan of lemon meringue pie, so he ordered the Lemon Meringue Cheesecake which is a lemon cream cheesecake, topped with layers of lemon mousse and fluffy meringue.

It's very rare that I hit up a chain restaurant for a meal, I usually like to spend my money at locally owned restaurants, but we were nearby and we were starving.
