It's a new time for Weapons of Anew.  Following a move to Florida and a re-structuring of their lineup the New Jersey Hard Rock band signed with Regime Music Group.  With an enthusiastic label behind them, Weapons of Anew is once again ready to shoot for the stars.  The opening salvo came on Friday with the release of their latest single "Angel Has Fallen."

Turn up the new single HERE.

Weapons of Anew's new single  "Angel Has Fallen"  is available now on all streaming platforms.  It features a killer lineup that includes Freddy Ordine, Reno, Dunté Mason, Nick Farahvashi and Julius Mendoza.   The band released the following statement:

" 'Angel Has Fallen' is the first song in a trilogy of tracks that tie together to tell the story of one's inner struggles and how they can consume and take you over.  The second song is called "Demons" (9/8) and the trilogy concludes with "Take You Down” (10/27).  The Angel has fallen. She knows your Demons. She has come to Take You Down. The trio of songs will be tied together into a long form video. "

We're very excited about Weapons of Anew's latest endeavor.  The group will tell a story with 3 singles and music videos over the next 3 months.  It's a great strategy for the digital era that should prove fruitful in both the commercial and artistic realms.

RAT Rockers obviously know the band from their chart-climbing success in 2020.  Weapons of Anew's cover of the Chainsmokers "Sick Boy" cracked the top 20 of the Billboard Top 40 and earned airplay from coast to coast.  The tune was in heavy rotation on RAT Radio.

The band's 2020 success was somewhat stagnated by the lockdown and lack of touring. People all over the nation were hearing their music, but no one could see them play.  They were unable to capitalize on their success, through no fault of their own.  To call that frustrating would be a great understatement.   However with that unprecedented period behind, the band is looking to start anew and reach precedented success.

Weapons of Anew's new effort just might help them reclaim the acclaim they enjoyed just a few years back.  The upcoming trilogy of tunes is the result of a lot of hard work, brimming with great creativity and high-level musicality.  Speaking directly about the band's latest single "Angel Has Fallen,"  Weapons of Anew guitar player/co-founder Freddy Ordine said:

“ 'Angel Has Fallen'  is about a girl who had everything going for her and succumbed to the darker things in life. Dancing led to drugs, which led to other horrible things and ultimately she passed. No matter how hard anyone who cared about her tried to help, it didn’t matter. She was too far down the line."

We're proud to have been the station to bring the world premier of "Angel Has Fallen" to the airwaves.  Find all your streaming and download options at  weaponsofanew.com!

The official video for "Angel Has Fallen" is coming later this month.  In celebration of the new single, we are featuring  the lyric video for  "Angel Has Fallen" as this week's Jersey Rock Video of the Week.

First, a little bit about the New Jersey Blueberry...

According to Wikipedia, The New Jersey Blueberry, otherwise known as Vaccinium caesariense, is a native perennial plant in the Eastern United States, and is especially prominent in the New Jersey area. Hence, its common name New Jersey Blueberry. It is found in the coastal states from Florida to New Hampshire, almost always in wetlands. Some of its native habitats include pine barrens, mires, upland meadows and woods, ravines, and mountain summits. Furthermore, New Jersey has developed environmental and agricultural programs to protect and develop the New Jersey Blueberry, such as the Blueberry Plant Certification Program and the Phillip E. Marucci Center for Blueberry & Cranberry Research & Extension. Center for Blueberry and Cranberry Research? Only in New Jersey baby! LOL.
