(WATCH) Jersey Rock Video of the Week: Monkey Bonz “Rolling Down The Road”

Monkey Bonz is a different kind of tribute act. Check out the video for their debut single “Rolling Down The Road” on the Jersey Rock page!

Monkey Bonz

Monkey Bonz is a regional supergroup with Garden State Roots.  The band features Jamie Fletcher (formerly of Britny Foxx, THE EDGE/Modern Superstar) on vocals, Joey Menella (Overdriven) on drums and rythym guitar, Danny Watts (formerly of The Bullet Boys/ModernSuperstar/Wicked Stick) on guitar and and New Jersey's own Tattoo Tony (Broken Past/Modern Superstar) on bass.

Monkey Bonz is a tribute act, but not the kind that recreates the music of a famous band.   They write and play original tunes "to keep some memories alive."  Their debut single "Rolling Down The Road" is a musical memorial to a dearly departed friend.  The band writes "We dedicate this song to our long lost brother William Carpenter. "  The track was recorded in Tattoo Tony's WC Studio, named in honor of William Carpenter.

Via their YouTube Channel, Monkey Bonz declared they have other tracks on the way stating "Look for more in the future!" We're certainly looking forward to that!
