AnimaL Ion is a positively charged musical powerhouse. Built around a creative nucleus, the group incorporates a number of influences, genres, and musicians. The result is a potent product with a sound that is atomic in more ways than one. It’s a molecular mix of elements from the 90’s, 2000’s, and beyond that masterfully blends Progressive Rock with NU Metal, and Grunge for a modern sound with classical undertones. Simply stated, they totally rock!
AnimaL Ion is based in Washington, DC and primarily rocks the Mid Atlantic area. Singer/Composer Anthony Nuccio teamed with long-time collaborator and New Jersey native Connor Engstrom to make his vision an reality. In addition to serving as the producer for Anthony’s compositions, Connor also plays guitar in the band. The duo worked with a number of talented artists on AnimaL Ion’s “Regression” EP.

AnimaL Ion plans to rock New Jersey in the near future. However, if you’d rather not wait, you can catch them in Baltimore on May 4 for Zenwest! On July 15 they will perform at The Recher in Towson with Heavy Metal act A Sound Of Thunder.
