New Album “From Anytown in the USA”  Available Now!

Joe Normal exists somewhere between Glam and Blue Collar Rock.  His flamboyant style compliments his down-to-earth lyrics to produce a combination that visually striking and sonically pleasing.  That quality is on high display in this week’s Jersey Rock Video of the Week “Ya Gotta Open Your Heart.”  The tune stares in the face of sadness and emptiness and unapologetically delivers an message of hope.  It was shot on location at the iconic Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, California back in November.  The beautiful bridge has sadly been the sight of many suicides over the years.

Joe Normal used the video as a means to combat suicide.  He wrote:

With this video I honor both the incredible engineering beauty of this magnificent structure, and pay my respects to the suffering, the despairing, to those who surrendered to a calling that you nor I may ever comprehend. God Rest Their Souls. If you or someone you know is struggling with grief and loss, mental health disorders, loneliness or depression, help and support is available… You are loved and appreciated. “

The video description includes the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline number 988.

Joe Normal and The Anytownr’s new album “From Anytown in the USA” was released on Friday February 3.  You can name your price and score it now at joenormalusa.com!

The video for “Ya Gotta Open Your Heart” exists not only as art but also as a public service message.  Check it out!
