After performing in a number of bands as both a lead and rhythm guitar player, Carolyn decided to return to work as a solo artist in 2019. While the world was locked down in 2020, she was busy unlocking her creativity. The result is her new EP "Loners, Misfits, And Rebels."

The video for the lead single "1000 Angels" is spiritual and serene. It deals with overcoming the pain of loss and finding the strength to move forward. The visuals, lyrics, and performance of Marosy weave together in pure harmony.
It feels deeply connected to nature and perhaps something more. Pause the video around the forty-five-second mark and you will see something special. A butterfly enters the frame and flies right across the camera and toward the artist as though it were an animated work.
Maybe it was a beautiful, lucky coincidence. Maybe it was a sign. Regardless, it makes for one of the best shots of any video featured on Jersey Rock.
