The two teams will go at it again tonight in Citi Field. Domingo German is on the mound for the Yankees (66 – 32)…while ace Max Shcerzer is on the hill for the Mets (60 – 37). Basketball. Rumors continue to swirl that the Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant will be traded to the Boston Celtics. Well, now Celtics megastar Jayson Tatum is commenting on the situation. Tatum says he is happy with how the team stands NOW. “I love our team. I love the guys that we got.” OUCH. It appears to this educated sports observer that Tatum doesn’t want the media circus that often accompanies KD.

Football. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gave a colorful press conference. In it, he basically said he could fire head coach Mike McCarthy and replace him with Super Bowl-winning coach Sean Payton if he wanted to…but he wouldn’t do that…even though he could if he wanted…but no…McCarthy is his guy. Or is he??? Yikes! Hope McCarthy’s place in Dallas is a rental!
Jerry Jones also offended little people by using the “M-word”. The Little People of America is asking for Jones to apologize. So far, Jones has yet to respond to the group.
