Rocking Spin Me Around Records and Releasing “Awaken” on Vinyl for Record Store Day 6/12/21!
It was less than 2 weeks before the covid-19 lockdown when Reality Suite blew the roof off the Asbury Lanes with a killer performance back in early March 2020. It was an epic evening of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal; one of the last great local music moments in the pre-pandemic era. It was an evening of social proximity, serious celebration, and scorching sounds. The night was captured on video and Reality Suite just released a piece of it on their YouTube channel.
“Kiss The Ring” (LIVE IN ASBURY PARK) is peak into a past time of packed concert venues; a time that is thankfully beginning to return. As we look forward to more and more live shows being scheduled, it’s great to look back at this performance. The band was so happy with the way “Kiss The Ring” turned out they decided to include it on the vinyl pressing of their “Awaken” album. The limited white vinyl release also includes the band’s 2020 anthem “Triggers.”
