Edison Alternartive Rock outfit Bryan Hansen Band released their latest album “Gas Money” back in the fall. It’s a great effort with a powerful meaning behind it. The album was dedicated to bandmate Hank Rosenthal, who died in 2017 at the age of 26 from a heroin overdose. Bryan Hansen Band celebrated the release of their latest album at The Asbury Lanes back in October. The world was a much, much different place back then. That fact only makes their lates single “Waiting For Tomorrow” even more relevant. It’s a great tune with a hopeful message and a sound that will stay in your head long after the song concludes. “Waiting For Tomorrow” started as a demo by guitar player Will Blakey. It almost didn’t make it on the album. We are very happy it did. Will called in to the Jersey Rock Weekly Podcast to tell us about the song. Check out the interview HERE.
The video for “Waiting For Tomorrow” was shot while in quarantine. It features plenty of “amateur style” cell-phone shot clips to produce a result that is greater than the sum of its parts. It’s a snapshot in time and perfectly captures the social distancing era. Check it out!
