Jersey Rock Christmas Week 2019
The Holidays are in full swing and we’re celebrating the season with a different artist on the air each night between now and the end of the decade!
Here’s the rundown for Christmas Week:
Tuesday 12/24/2019 –
Ashley Mckinley is home for the holidays! The Jersey Rocker/Nashville transplant will join us in-studio on Christmas Eve for a special acoustic session. Ashley will be joined by Nick Ryan of Nick Ryan & The Mess for what will no doubt be a very memorable peformance. Ashley McKinley’s latest single “Break Even” is available now at ashleymckinleymusic.com! Wednesday 12/25/2019 –
Boy do we have a Christmas present for you! Legendary drummer Carmine Appice will call in to the show as we play his brand new Christmas song. The Long Island native, known for his work with Vanilla Fudge is a Jersey Rocker by association. Though he is not from the Garden State, he produces and manages one of our favorite up-and-coming Jersey Rock acts Kodiak. Check them out at kodiakband.com. Carmine Appice’s “Guitar Zeus” album is out now. It features guitar legends such as Brian May, Ted Nugent, Warren DiMartini, Yngwie Malmsteen, Bruce Kulick, and NJ guitar heroes Zakk Wylde and Bumblefoot. Thursday 12/26/2019 –
On the day after Christmas Asbury Park’s own Chris Brown will call in to the show. Chris Brown’s latest EP “One More Night” is avaialable now at chrisbrownap.com. Chris will re-enter the studio with Pete Steinkopf in the new year to lay down a brand new single and begin work on a new album. Chris Brown will lend his talent to the Light Of Day Foundation Asbury Undergound crawl on 1/18/20. The event will feature performances from 40 different area artists in Asbury Park and benefits The Light Of Day Foundation, which “utilizes the power of music to raise money and awareness in its continuing battle to defeat Parkinson’s disease and its related illnesses PSP and ALS within our lifetime.”
