Monmouth County S.P.C.A has announced an opportunity to adopt a dog with a lower cost for adoption. As heard on the Morning Rat Race: For one week only they are offering a "donation only" adoption rate for certain dogs in their care. Find out more about this opportunity to adopt a dog at low cost from the Monmouth County S.P.CA.

They're calling the event "The Endless Summer (of Love)".

What Is "Donation Only" Adoption?

Usually when an animal is adopted from the Monmouth County S.P.C.A there are fees involved that the person or family that is making the adoption will incur. The fees help cover the cost of the animal in the days and weeks prior to adoption. When a "donation only" event is announced, the Monmouth County S.P.C.A will waive all of their normal adoption fees and instead allow a family to adopt a pet and just make a donation at their own financial comfort level.

What Animals Are Available For Adoption For "Donation Only"?

Not all of the dogs in the care of the Monmouth County S.P.C.A are available for this program. The dogs specifically included are those who are over 1 year in age and that have been at the shelter for 30 days or more.

Clearly this is their way to incentivize adopting dogs who have been around for a while. While their living conditions are good at the Monmouth County S.P.C.A, nothing compares to having a home and family of their own. Nothing compares to your home, really.

This is a limited time opportunity. The special event is going through Saturday, June 22nd. Contact the Monmouth County S.P.C.A for information at 732-542-0040 or on their social media.

When Carl is not working at the greatest rock radio station known to mankind; a station known around the globe; a station that has the best music, co-workers, advertisers and most importantly THE BEST F'N LISTENERS you may find me doing any one of the following: Riding or making mountain bike trails. playing with his kids. playing sand volleyball on 5th Ave, cooking amazing food, including on his sweet smoker grill, going to concerts, swimming in the ocean, going to amusement parks with his kids, and other stuff that rocks!
