Atlantic City War At The Shore Is Back And Here Is Some Boat Racing Up And Down The Coast.

Let's get you right into the action in Atlantic City where you'll see some amazing power boats racing up and down the coast.

It's the Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA), National Championship Series “Atlantic City War at the Shore.” The event starts on Friday, June 21st, but the main event is scheduled for Sunday, June 23, according to shorenewsnetwork.com.

Ocean Casino Resort presents this badass event and will guarantee a high-speed, heart-racing, and edge-of-seat-entertaining time. The power and size of these racing boats range, meaning top speeds will go from 80 to 170 miles per hour. Also, the minimum age requirement to race these boats ranges from 14 to 21 years old depending on the size of the engine and top speed. Check out the video.

Sunday, June 23

  • 11am – 3pm War At The Shore Races
  • 11am – 9pm Race & Vendor Village (Golden Nugget Lot A) Open to Public
  • 7pm – Awards Ceremony (Ocean Casino Resort “Top Golf”)

Gotts is the unofficial mascot of the county. Whenever WRAT is hosting an event, people ask if Gotts will be there. there. Like Bigfoot, many people claim to see him in the area. According to Gotts, he was thrown out of home school in Monroe Township. To keep up with his own legend, Gotts likes writing about wacky local news that happens – such as pepperoni vandals. His favorite movie is Point Break, and is a big lover of Miller Lite. His favorite words to live by are “The windshield is always bigger than the rearview mirror”.
