Swim The Current is a brand new Rock project featuring Jersey Rock vets and Disciples Of Verity bandmates George Pond (bass) and Greg Antine (guitar). The group came into existence when Antine approached Pond with his desire to "write songs that had more depth and were inspired by his personal life experiences." After meeting at George Pond's home studio, the duo realized their aspirations were for something much bigger than a simple side project. Enlisting Joe Gareri (guitar, keyboards) the duo unlocked what they refer to as a " cinematic writing style" that perfectly matched their concepts. Adding Chris Moore (drums) and Marcos Leal (vocals), the group found its form. Swim The Current is a full-fledged Rock outfit comprised of music scene veterans.
The group released their debut single "We Are Not The Same" to much online acclaim. Their follow-up single, a cover of Koe Wetzel's "So Low" drew even more praise. Speaking of the new single, George Pond said:
"well, Marcos was a big country fan. He came to me with an idea of doing a country cover something. I’m not very familiar with but I became a big country fan for about a week and a half two weeks. He gave me a bunch of artists to listen to, and a bunch of songs he thought might fit the criteria to these artists entire catalog and try to get a feel for country being mostly a metal guy and a hard rock guy. I really wasn’t tuned into the country scene. I picked Koe Wetzels “So Low” his message seem to fit the time and point in some things that were gone personally for Marcos and I honestly didn’t think that the song was going to takeoff like it is nor did I know exactly how everybody else in the band was gonna take it whether they were going to be OK with doing this no absolutely not. After its completion everybody was just so head over heels about the way it came out even people in Coast camp gave us the greenlight to do it. We decided to shoot with the famed Tom Flynn amazing video Director to complete the vision. "

6 Crazy New Jersey Laws That Will Blow Your Mind
Well, we all have our stories about getting crazy or knowing someone who is, but here is a list of 6 crazy laws that you could get busted for in New Jersey. Some of these will really scratch your head, and wonder if someone in law enforcement is really going to investigate this.
This is all reported by the Law Offices Of Joseph A Rutigliano.
I wonder who even comes up with some of these, and why waste your time. I would bet there are some law enforcement and lawyers who don't even know these crazy laws exist. I also would be laughing my ass off if you or know someone who has been issued a ticket for one of these.
6 Crazy Laws In New Jersey You Should Check Out:
Some people do really need to zoom out and see that there are a lot of other laws that should be passed, but you don't want to be getting a ticket or even worse, get arrested for something silly like this. I know a bunch of people who have complained about getting a ticket for going over the speed limit, and it was just 2mph over the speed limit.

Another story I'll share someone got a ticket for having a non-alcoholic at a bar, and the police were called and told him that the bar called them to say he was too drunk. I'm sure you have your own other stories you can share. There are a lot of crazy, weird laws, but on this list, I'm giving you 6 of the craziest laws that caught my eye, and what my ears heard. These wacky laws take it to another level I promise.
So down below is the list, have a good laugh and share it with friends, family, or around the office and please be careful out there. Thank you for taking the time out to check this list out and always rocking out with me and 95.9 The Rat. You can get more stories by clicking right HERE. Much Love and Cheers. - Gotts
HERE IS THE LIST OF THE TOP 6 CRAZY LAWS IN NEW JERSEY
1: Handcuffs May Not Be Sold To Minors
I don't know what kid would want to buy handcuffs, as a kid myself I was always trying to stay out of them. Unless the kids are playing cops and robbers, they do have the toy ones. I don't know if a cop will bust a kid for having the plastic toy ones.

2: It Is Against The Law For A Man To Knit During The Fishing Season
This law really has me puzzled, why can't a man cast a fishing line out, and while he waits for a fish to take the line, start knitting his own sweater up. Who knows maybe the man is knitting up a fishing net to help him eat. I really hope the Gaming Commission really doesn't care if a man is sitting anywhere fishing and wants to knit.

3: It Is Illegal To Wear A Bullet-Proof Vest While Committing A Murder
Say whaaat !! Okay so your going to kill a person, but make sure your not wearing that bullet-proof vest.

4: It Is Illegal To Raise Chickens In Bottles
I HAVE NO IDEA AND NEVER HEARD OF THIS BUT IT'S A LAW ! 100% mind blown right now on that one.

5: Newark Requires Security For Ice Cream Customers
After 4pm in the city of Newark New Jersey, if you have more than 20 or more customers at your ice cream shop you must have a security guard on duty.

6: Trenton’s Pickle Law
The City of Trenton has the Trenton Pickle Ordinance, which says that you cannot eat pickles in Trenton on a Sunday. Also to add more craziness to this law Trenton residents are forbidden to throw bad pickles into the street.
