Great Food And Fun Event Coming To South Toms River To Support Local Police Unity Team
A Great Food And Fun Event Happens on Saturday April 20, 2024, from 10 am to 3pm. My friend, Harry Clayton and his crew from Harry’s Smokin’ BBQ are hosting a fundraiser to support South Toms River, and Beachwood Police Department’s Unity Tour Team.
The primary purpose of the police unity tour is to raise awareness of law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The secondary purpose is to raise money for The Memorial Fund- National Law Enforcement Officers Museum.
The purpose of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is to honor the role of law enforcement, in service to society, by recognizing the sacrifices and valor of law enforcement, educating the community, and making it safer for those who serve.
A percentage of all food sales will be donated to the Police Unity Tour Team. This is Harry’s 4th year raising money for this very worthy cause.
A huge thank you to Ryan Matthews, owner of MyGuy Plumbing & Drain of Toms River, who’ll be purchasing $100.00 of food per hour to give away to a bunch of lucky random customers.
2024 Schedule – Seaside Heights Concerts On The Beach
The event is five hours long, so that means Ryan and the fine folks from MyGuy Plumbing & Drain will be giving away $500 worth of meals during the course of the fundraiser.
Ryan will also be writing a check to support the unity tour team.
Most of all, we’d like to thank our local police officers for putting their lives on the line to protect and serve our communities. We love you, and we support you!
Prizes donated by local businesses will be raffled off during the event. I’ll be there to show my support for our men and women in blue.
Last year, I met some incredible first responders from South Toms River, Beachwood, Pine Beach, and the surrounding areas. We thank you for all that you do for our communities.
