Video: 12 Year Old Steals Forklift And Leads Cops In A Slow Speed Chase
12 year old kid who stole a forklift leads cops in a slow speed chase.
Dateline, Michigan. You hear about the 12 year old kid who stole a forklift from the construction site at his school and proceeded to lead cops on an hour-long chase at 12 miles an hour? The boy from Ann Arbor found the forklift at a construction site near his school. What probably started out as an innocent investigation into something every 12 year old boy is attracted to turned out to be a No Sweat News story.
It’s unclear who the kid was, his name wasn’t released because of his age. But there was some details about the forklift he pinched from the construction site. It wasn’t just any forklift. It was one of those big ones that can lift building supplies 3 stories in the air. The “Construction Genie GTH-636 Telehandler”. Clearly, that construction site was a major building project, not some temporary project. If they had a beast like this on the site, they must have been building something major.
Hey that 636 is bad ass. Much better than the 236. Weighs about 30,000 pounds…
The 12 year old apparently found the keys to the giant forklift in the cab. That seems to be mistake number one for this whole thing.
A close second would be not putting up secure enough fencing to keep the kid out of the area, but what the heck do I know about construction sites? Not much.
So, the kid starts up the forklift and figures out how to engage the transmission and gets it rolling. He rolls out of the construction site and onto city streets and proceeds to lead cops on a 12 mile an hour chase through town. Blowing through stop signs and red lights. According to reports, supposedly the kid nicked up about a dozen cars along the way but in the video you see below, his driving skills are pretty tight. The boy eventually left town and that’s when the state cops picked up the chase. Soon after he pulled over without much more incident.
They brought the 12 year old kid who stole a forklift to juvie.
The Hottest Celebrity Women Under 5'3"
They say that “good things come in small packages,” and with these celebrities, that statement holds true. According to Healthline, the average height for women in the United States is about 5 foot 4 inches tall. This average has increased slightly over time, and research relates it to the quality of nutrition in infancy and childhood. The study even links a population’s height to its standard of living.
Even in the fashion world, female fashion models used to have to be at least 5’9″ to get booked for gigs. In the age of inclusion, models of all heights and sizes are walking the runways and appearing in fashion spreads. For example, rising model Gabbriette Bechtel is only 5’4″. Her accomplishments so far include starring in campaigns for Marc Jacobs, Nike, and Savage X Fenty, to name a few. She has also walked the runway for Vera Wang, Diesel, and Dsquared2, and has been featured in CR Fashion Book, Dazed, and Vogue.
For actors and singers, their marketability comes from their image in the cutthroat world of Hollywood. Height can play a factor when it comes to roles that want taller women, but for actresses like Salma Hayek and Lucy Liu who are 5’2″ and 5’3″ respectively, they have received many accolades for their roles in film. A number of short women have even won Oscars for Best Actress, including 4’10” Mary Pickford in 1929, 5’1″ Sissy Spacek in 1980 and 5’1″ Reese Witherspoon in 2005. Two time winners include 5’2″ Sally Field in 1979 and in 1984 and Jodie Foster in 1988 and again in 1991. These female stars don’t let their below average height stop them from being seen and heard in this competitive industry. In fact, some of these stars on this list are regarded as some of the most successful people in the entertainment industry.
