Soraia is on fire! The South Jersey/Philly Metro Area Garage Rockers continue to expand their geographic, broadcast, and streaming territory. As their notoriety builds, the band is showing no signs of letting up. They are burning bright and we’re excited to witness their accession.
Soraia kicked off the year with the release of a killer cover of The Knack’s “My Sharona.” They followed it up in March with the high-octane original single “Firebrand.” Another new single “Hammer and The Anvil” is due out in June with a brand new album coming on Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records label in October! You can prepare for the release by picking up Soraia’s “Dig Your Roots” album and the limited-edition “Tight-Lipped” vinyl at soraia.com!
Following a tour of Sweden, the band returned to the states to open for Joan Jett and The Black Hearts. They also blew the roof off The Saint in Asbury Park at Bobby Mahoney and The Seventh Son’s EP Release show. Before they head back overseas, Soraia will bring their high energy show to a number of local venues.
You have 2 opportunities to catch Soraia in the immediate area in the near future. On May 6 they will rock Berlin on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Tickets are available HERE. On May 13 they will rock Dingbatz in Clifton. Find tickets HERE.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear the latest from Soraia. Lead singer ZouZou Mansour will call in to the show each nigh!
