Tis’ the season and Jersey Rock will gear up for Christmas with a week of awesome Yuletide tunes!
It all kicks off on 12/20 with the 3rd Annual Jersey Rock Podcast Christmas Special. It’s a full hour of holiday tracks from the local bands who make NJ rock with call-ins from Wayne Olivieri, Diane Ruggerio, and Bill, Jeff, and Eric of The Mighty Treetoppers! Check it out HERE!
On the air, we’ll feature a different act each night. Here’s the rundown:
Tuesday 12/22 – Soraia
Soraia has a brand new single coming in the new year. On January 15, the band will perform a live stream concert from the Bowery Electric in NYC. Lead singer ZouZou Mansour calls in to tell us all about the show and the upcoming release. Soraia released a brand new holiday track, a killer cover of The Sonics’ “Santa Claus.” We’ll turn that track up on Tuesday night. Wednesday 12/23 – The Mighty Tree Toppers
The Mighty Tree Toppers usually spend the holiday season performing all across NJ. The Garden State holiday supergroup did not get to make their usual rounds this year, however that has not dimmed their Christmas spirit one bit. Bill, Jeff, and Eric from the Tree Toppers will call in to the show and we’ll rock a great track from their “Christmas Rebels” album featuring Eddie Testa. Thursday 12/24 – Reality Suite
Brian King of Reality Suite calls in to the show on Christmas Eve as we rock a most appropriate original Christmas track! “Deliver By Christmas” not only rocks hard, it has a very special meaning behind it, which we will reveal on the night before Christmas. Reality Suite has brand new material on the way in the new year. Lead Singer Kimmii Heart will grace the pages of the 2021 Rat Rock Girl Calendar and is currently in the running for the cover!
