Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Dramarama
One of the coolest elements of hosting a program like Jersey Rock is discovering new acts. Watching them evolve and reach for stardom is truly rewarding. Equally rewarding is re-discovering a well-established, veteran act. Experiencing them again for the first time is beyond cool. That is exactly the case with a certain Alternative Rock act from Wayne, NJ, who just put out their first release in 15 years.
Dramarama’s new album “Color TV” is brimming with energy and bolstered by wisdom earned through the experience of surfing the many channels of life. It absolutey must be enjoyed in stereo (where available).
Score the 12-song album on amazon.com and Apple Music!
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from “Color TV.” John Easdale will join us over the phone each night!

“Color TV” is filled with great tunes. From the driving lead track “Beneath The Zenith,” to the chill, mature romance tune “Hold Me Tight,” it’s an awesome audio experience. There’s even a great Bob Dylan cover mixed in. However, the most gripping song on the album has to be the lead single. If for nothing more than the fact that it channels the feeling of the challenging times we currently live in. That song is “Up To Here.” Check out its lyric video!
