Matawan’s Painted Young is energetic and ever-evolving. What began as a cover band in 2013 transformed into an original Pop Punk Rock outfit. Now the group is tranistioning to a more of a straight up Pop Rock sound. Their tunes are catchy, upbeat, and brimming with vigor.
Painted Young’s debut EP “Looking Forward To Never Looking Back” and their 2019 follow-up “I’m Not Gonna Wait” are out now on all streaming platforms. Keep an eye out for new tunes coming soon. Check them out on spotify!
Painted Young was supposed to perform at the 2020 Jersey Rock Showcase Finale at River Rock in Brick on 3/19. However, due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, the show has been cancelled. At the present time we do not know if it will be rescheduled. Stay tuned to Jersey Rock for updates as they become available.
