Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Connor Bracken And The Mother Leeds Band
Rocking House Of Independents in Asbury Park This Friday 8/6!
It’s been almost a year since Connor Bracken And The Mother Leeds Band released their latest album “Nightbird Motel.” While the album itself is nothing short of dominant win, the band never got to take a victory lap in the form of an album release show. They were instead consigned to the virtual world, where they rocked killer video performances across YouTube and on the Jersey Rock Home Showcase. They performed “Nightbird Motel” cover to cover at the empty Asbury Park Brewery, essentially creating a live second album. While their set at the empty brewery was a fun, raucous affair, it is clear that casks of Sea Dragon IPA are no substitute for a live audience.
At this point Connor Bracken describes the elusive album release show as a “grudge match.” On Friday 8/6 he’ll step into the squared circle with his pandemic born foe and finally settle the score. On that evening the “Nightbird” Motel album release show will finally take place at House Of Independents in Asbury Park. With Morningside Lane and Natalie Farrell in their corner there will be more than enough energy, glamour, and raw unrelenting vengeance to satisfy any pay-per-view audience. Speaking of which, tickets are available now at houseofindependents.com. You can also message The Mother Leeds Band to score a pair via social media.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night at 11:30 pm to hear live and studio cuts from “NightBird Motel.” Connor Bracken will call in to the show each night!
“Nightbird Motel” is available now on all digital platforms. Physical copies will be available at House Of Independents on Friday night. Check out all of your options at motherleedsband.com.
