John Williams’ Final Star Wars Score Will Be Episode IX
We Star Wars fans knew that eventually this day was coming. Legendary film composer John Williams says he’s retire from doing music for the Saga after Episode IX.
Williams is truly one of the great geniuses in cinema history. Garnering an incredible FIFTY-ONE Academy Award nominations, Williams has won an equally-impressive FIVE Oscars (for Fiddler On The Roof, Star Wars, Jaws, E.T., and Schindler’s List).
We do not know how many film scores Williams has left in him (as he is 86), but he has indeed confirmed that his Star Wars career will come to an end by 2019.
As a result, we’d like to make our own list to salute “The Maestro” John Williams….his Top 5 Star Wars Themes!
May the Force be with you, John!
