Two Brick Women Plead Guilty To Animal Cruelty Charges Involving Over 170 Animals
Two women from Brick pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges on Monday, said Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. This case was investigated in 2022 when police were called to a house on Arrowhead Park Drive. An anonymous caller stated that the two ladies from the house were running a puppy mill.
Police did get to the house, and went inside only to find the smell was so foul and just a mess so they had to exit. It was so gross, and conditions so bad the police had to get a Hazmat team in the house. The two women from the house were identified as Michele Nycz, 60 and Aimee Lonczak, 51 both of Brick were taken into custody right away and brought to the Ocean County Jail.
What Was Found In The House
It’s a good thing you can’t smell this post, but when the Hazmat team entered the house, they found and removed just around 129 dogs and 43 cats, as well as the bodies of two dead dogs. The cops even Lonczak’s 16-year-old child at the house too.
The 2 women stood in front of Honorable Judge Guy P. Ryan, as they pled guilty to Child Neglect, as well as two counts of Animal Cruelty. Now the state will be looking for them to get 364 days in the Ocean County Jail as a condition of probation to each defendant, a lifetime ban on owning animals, a ban on working with animals, and community service not involving animals. Their sentencing will take place on August 16, 2024.
So in conclusion, some people should not have pets. Thank you for taking the time to check this post out and always rocking out with me and 95.9 The Rat. You can get more stories by clicking right HERE. Much LOVE and CHEERS. –Gotts
