Rocking House Of Independents on August 30!

The Mercury Brothers have a very busy August ahead. The hottest month of the year is featuring a seriously hot schedule for the Red Bank Rock outfit that will see them rock 3 shows in Asbury Park. August 13 you can catch them on the Mogo Stage for Asbury Park Live. Then on August 16 the group will rock the Low Dive on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Both shows are free.

While the mid-August shows are guaranteed to be great, The Mercury Brothers are really looking forward to finally rocking a rather elusive venue at the end of the month. On August 30 The Mercury Brothers will lend their power to the Chris Gullace album release show at House Of Independents. Dan Apy said of the HOI gig:

“Expect us going full tilt for sure.  We’re going to have extra members there.  We’ll have some keys and playing new songs and promoting our new album, which is yet to come out. We’re really excited for it and we’re going to bring a hell of a show.“

While The Mercury Brothers are in the midst of a busy performance schedule, they have also found time to work on new material. Expect a brand new album coming soon. Dan Apy said:

“We’re on the goal line right now.  It’s about to go into mastering so the leg work is done and a lot of it is coming down to gearing up and getting focused for the live shows.“

In the meantime, The Mercury Brothers are proud to offer up their latest single “Kill Me Again.” We were proud to turn it up on the air last week and equally stoked to feature the track’s accompanying music video. Dan Apy said:

“‘Kill Me Again’ is about feeling something so strongly that it sort of breaks you.  Then you try to move away from it. And then you just want it back in your life.  It’s about a feeling that you didn’t realize how much it affected you and how it’s a powerful force in your life and you just want it back.”
