Window Washer Dangling In The Air, Calls His Mom
Talk about “high risk” am I right!? A wild story out of Alabama.
If there is anyone you can call knowing you might die, most of us would have done what this guy did and called his mom. This all happened on a Monday morning for him at work, and you think your Monday’s suck?
Window Washer Stuck In The Air. What Happened!?
His name is Jared Cooper, and he works for a window-washing company in Mobile, Alabama called Squeegee Squad.
On July 29th my man got stuck nearly upside down from the side of Alabama’s tallest building called the RSA Tower.
This building is 35 stories and just about 745 feet including the spire.
Jared was stuck below the 33rd floor when he had a piece of equipment called the “descender” locked up and poor Jared couldn’t move. He did call 911 and thankfully the local firefighters were there within minutes.
Since Jared had some time to spend, he decided to call his mom Charlotte, while she was at work as well.
He was quoted saying ” Hey Mom, I’m stuck up here on a ledge, waiting to see when I’m coming down.” Well, his mom was not even upset because she didn’t even think he was serious until she saw a photo on Facebook.
Good news though Jared is okay, as the fire department got Jared down in about an hour and he’s okay. He even said “Just another day at work,” plus he will be back at work coming up next week to finish the job he has started.
Way to go Jared and we salute you for the hard work you put in.
