Toms River Police In Search For Shooting Suspect, Asking Public’s Help
Toms River police are asking for your help to identify a shooting suspect. On May 14th, around 4 p.m. the cops responded to a report of multiple shots being fired over in the Camino Hermosa section of town, just off Route 70 in the Whitesville section.
According to police, the male target of the alleged shooter was not hit, but some homes in the area were. The department says both the victim and the suspect likely knew each other. No other injuries or damages have been reported.
What is just really crazy is that there is a sign in front of the neighborhood that reads “Friendly Village.”

Details About The Toms River Shooting Suspect
Police are saying the shooting suspect is a juvenile, who was dressed in black and will be looking at attempted murder charges and unlawful possession of a weapon. This teen shooter did leave right after the incident and took off in a silver car.
Police have not disclosed a motive for the shooting at this time.
The Ocean County CSI Unit was on the scene, collecting up all the evidence. They found bullet shrapnel, and shells and even found a bullet shell at the end of the street where the shooting took place.
