Jocks with Crocks Episode 4
Hey there RAT Rock Nation, it’s ya boy Gotts wishing you a Happy Valentines Day!
I want to show you what we cooked up here at 95.9 The RAT for a special Valentine’s edition. I tried to impress the beautiful Rockyn Robyn on a recent episode of Jocks with Crocks. I’m not usually a baker, so she actually had to help ME with the cake.
With the help of some of my favorite people in the WRAT Promotions Department, we found the easiest dessert recipe for you to make for someone you love. And of course, we gotta do it in a crockpot because Jimmy Steal bought this fancy thing for all the Jocks with Crocks episodes! I’ll be honest with ya, being able to bake a cake in a crockpot was a heck of a lot easier than figuring out how to make it in an oven. I don’t even think I know how to turn my oven on! Plus, this took us like 10 minutes to prep and 3 hours to bake.. ya can’t beat it!
One thing we missed on this recipe was having a gallon of vanilla ice cream to dump it over; or whipped cream to top it off. Other than that, we cooked up or should I say, CROCKED up a damn delicious dessert with only three ingredients. Do yourself a favor and WATCH the episode. We even got a few special guests!
The recipe is referred to as a Chocolate Cherry “DUMP CAKE”, which was a little weird haha. (“Dump” recipes are apparently a thing in the crockpot world, though.) In my professional baking opinion (ok, someone else in the office said this during filming), you could use a yellow or vanilla cake box instead of chocolate. AND you could do different berries instead of cherries. But this was for Valentine’s Day and cherries are RED, so that’s what I did here.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this Jocks with Crocks episode & recipe. I want to wish you the best & most LOVE. Hope you make this for someone special. God Bless!
