Play An Old Hulk Hogan WWF Wrestling Video Backwards And You’ll Summon A Demon

This video is nutty.  Sure, we all know that if you play a Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath album backwards, you can summon the dark lord himself.  That's true, we do it all the time with great success.  But did you know that if you play a Hulk Hogan wrestling promo backwards it sounds like he's summoning the Devil too?  Yep, no question about it.  The Hulkster knows something about the evil ways of  the world.  To enjoy this phenomenon, you have to go back and find a video from the early 1990's.  But don't worry, you don't have to do any of the work... someone did it for you.

The clip looks like it's from 1992/93.  Mean Gene Okerlund and Hulk were always an entertaining pair!  There's no better stoke up announcer than Mean Gene!  I you play the video backwards sounds like the Hulk Hogan is speaking a mixture of gibberish and Russian that would summon Lucifer himself from the depths of hell. Cue Mephistopheles.

The 1990's were, in my opinion, the glory days of wrestling in America.  The list of superstars was a mile long.  Brutus Beefcake, the immortal Andre The Giant, Animal, Bret Hart, and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka.  Jesse "The Body" Ventura alone brought it!

Those were the wrestlers of my youth and they're the absolute classic era.  Rock on!

Good morning, Sports fans!  Davey Mac here with a new Sports Report for ya!  We've got a new World Series champion, NBA and NHL scores, and a preview of tonight's NFL matchup!  But first!

Legendary and controversial Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight died yesterday.  He was 83.  Knight led Indiana to three National Championships and his 1975 Hoosiers squad is the last team to go undefeated and win the Championship.

He also was controversial in nature...and was eventually let go by Indiana University following a physical confrontation with a player.  It was this intensity yet edgy nature that led to Knight being the inspiration for Gene Hackman's character in the film Hoosiers.  Knight himself was also featured in the movie Anger Management, starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler, in a fun cameo.

Knight's basketball legacy is pretty sterling.  Not only is he considered to be one of the greatest coaches of all time...but his protégé Mike Krzyzewski (who played for Knight at Army) went on to win 5 National Championships.

Bobby Knight really hated Purdue.  And when a Boilermaker was shooting a free throw one time...Knight...who thought his Hoosier player had been victimized by a bad call...threw a chair across the court.

Bobby Knight has no idea what the term "game face" means and is more than happy to show his own interpretation of said phrase.

Bobby is livid at someone at this clip...not quite sure who...but it's entertaining as hell to watch him rip whoever apart.

This is totally epic.  Bobby rips his team completely apart at half-time when they're losing to Purdue.  An Indiana assistant snuck a tape recorder into the locker room to get this fantastic and timeless audio.  Warning: certainly not safe for work!

Now on to the Scoreboard!  Let’s start with baseball…where the Texas Rangers won their first World Series in franchise history last night…as Texas shut out the Arizona Diamondbacks in Game 5…5 to nothing…to take the Series, 4 games to 1.  Texas shortstop Corey Seager was named the World Series MVP.   Texas becomes just the third team in MLB history (1969 Mets and 1914 Boston Braves) to win the World Series just two years after losing a 100 games.  Amazing!

Over to basketball…as the Knicks lost to the Cavaliers last night…95 to 89.  Despite 24 points from Jalen Brunson…Donovan Mitchell (30 points and 6 rebounds) and Cleveland had too much last night…the Knicks drop to 2 and 3.  The Cavs are now 2 and 3.

The Nets took down the Heat…109 to 105.  Mikal Bridges had 21 points and 7 rebounds for Brooklyn in the win.  The Nets are now 2 and 2 for the year.

The 76’ers were off yesterday.  This evening the Sixers play the Raptors in Philly.  The Sixers are 2 and 1.

On to hockey.  The Flyers fell to the Sabres last night…5 to 2.  Philly is now 4-5-1 for the season.

The Devils and Rangers were inactive.  Tonight the Devils face the Wild in Minnesota.  The Devils are 5-2-1.

The Rangers play the Hurricanes in Madison Square Garden.  The Rangers are 7-2-0.

Football.  Tonight kicks off Week 9 of the NFL season.  You’ve got the Titans (3 and 4) taking on the Steelers (4 and 3) in Pittsburgh on Thursday Night Football (on Prime Video).  Get your picks in!
