Parts Of New Jersey Getting Some Snow
Rat Rockers.. just a heads up and I know a lot of us to travel all over the state of New Jersey, just be extra careful in some parts as we get ready for a nasty winter storm.
The future forecast is looking like some snow in parts of NJ and ice mixed in with heavy rain. Get ready for big gusts of winds as well, how about up to 50mph? So our Wednesday might be a little mess for some.
North New Jersey is looking at 2 to 5 inches of snow from this storm, here at the Jersey shore it looks like we are mostly getting heavy rain with those heavy winds. Please be extra careful with coastal flooding.
Most of this storm will be up by Sussex, Morris, Warren, and Passaic counties. Just keep in mind the roads will be very slippery and make sure you tune into the Morning Rat Race where we are always giving the 95.9 road report.
This wintery mess advisory will be running from 7 am to 7 pm in some parts and 12 midnight in others. Please be careful out on the roads and give yourself an extra 5 feet from the guy in front of you.
No kids I’m sure you will not be able to get out of school on this one (well down here at the shore at least ). Hey, if you live or work up North Jersey and can get out of it take the day and enjoy yourself. Let’s all be careful and also let’s show many thanks to all the men and women who work during these storms to keep us safe.
As always Rat Rockers thank you for being part of our family and rocking out with 95.9 The Rat. Much love – Gotts
