Robot Lawyer Will Argue Its First Case
Maybe Elon Musk might be using this but how will this work out? A robot lawyer will go to court next month and try to help out someone with a speeding ticket.
The website DoNotPay.com has some tools to help people fight parking tickets or get their bank to reverse some things like overpaid fees. Now they have got a program that can listen to court cases and come up with ways and some strategies in real-time to help you win your case.
As reported by the New York Post, an “unprecedented hearing” is slated to take place next month. They will test it out and help someone fight and try to beat a speeding ticket in the USA but no word on where this case will be held meaning which state.
It’s weird to me cause when you go into a courtroom you are really not allowed to have electronic devices that connect to the internet. What they did here is picked on that allowed for Apple Air Pods to be used as hearing aids.
The person that will be in court fighting this ticket will be using the Apple Air Pods in court and the robot will listen in through their cell phone and then tell the person who is fighting the ticket what to say. The CEO of DoNotPay.com says the judge will definitely NOT know it’s going on.
They will also plan on using it on other cases and other speeding tickets cases that will take place over Zoom. Thank you for taking the time to read and always thank you for rocking out with 95.9 The Rat. – Gotts
