Jersey Rock Feature of the Week: 2nd Annual Point Pleasant Beach Battle of the Bands
Rocking The Point Pleasant Beach Bandshell on Saturday June 10!
Following an epic first outing in 2022, The Point Pleasant Beach Battle of the Bands returns on Saturday June 10! The event will rock the Bandshell, located at the corner of Arnold and Baltimore Avenues in Point Pleasant Beach. It’s great location, right down the road from the boardwalk. Attendees are encouraged to bring a beach towel or folding chair and find a spot on the large, lush grassy area in front of the Bandshell. It’s a family-friendly show and admission is FREE. The music starts at approximately 4:55 pm with an opening set by Jersey Rock vets The Well Wish. The competition will start soon thereafter and wrap up between 9:30 and 10:00 pm.
The ten bands competing in this year’s Battle of the Bands are Breaktime, Indigo Sky, At Arms Reach, SOUP, Watersports, Love’s Over Rated, Onofria, The Azures, Baron Praxis, and Heath Monger. The first place band will take home a $1000 grand prize!
In addition to a great evening of music, vendors will be on the scene. Food and beer will be available, so make sure to bring some cash! WRAT Radio will also be on site. Stop by the RAT Tent to play games for a chance to win great prizes!

Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The RAT Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to learn more about the 2nd Annual Point Pleasant Beach Battle of the Bands. We’ll rock cuts from last years top three bands Southpaw, Indigo Sky, and White Wing! Event organizer Chris Bozadzis of the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee and the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce will call in to the show each night!
