Silverton Is Gettin’ Hot & Healthy On Hooper Avenue!
Hot & Healthy Kitchen will be having its grand opening this Sunday, August 13th, at 11:30 am, at 1846 Hooper Avenue in Silverton.
Toms River Mayor Mo Hill is expected to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. This makes Hot & Healthy Kitchen the newest eatery to open in the Silverton section of Toms River this year. What a busy year it has been in that department. With the new Pizza Hut, Salad House, Roxy’s Bar and Grill, and Wavershak’s all opening this year. Plus, McIntyre’s Pub getting new ownership and a makeover. Meanwhile, the Speedway has given way to a new Shell gas station and convenience store, while Kuts For Kids In The Kingdom has opened its children’s salon as well. Silverton has truly rebounded from the Pandemic, with more to come. As we all anxiously await Sweet Carolina’s BBQ to open, hopefully by the end of the year in the Rand’s Plaza.
The plan for Hot & Healthy Kitchen is pretty cool.
According to posts on their Facebook page, Hot and Healthy Kitchen will be sharing a wall with Shore Fresh Meal Prep. So everything will be cooked, well, Hot & Healthy. This should make for a fresh unstoppable duo of deliciousness! Furthermore, for Sunday’s grand opening, all meals will be discounted for the day. The menu leaves a lot of options open to the customer. There’s Build Your Own Tacos. Also you can build your own meal, by choosing a starch base, vegetable, protein, and seasoning. Moreover, according to their Facebook page, Hot & Heathy Kitchen’s menu will also feature fresh made salads, meat and vegetable quesadillas, as well as wraps and side dishes.
Speaking of options, it’s nice to have more options in town, when it comes to grabbing a quick bite. Silverton has taken quite a liking to Shore Fresh Meal Prep. Thusly, it wouldn’t be surprising if Hot & Healthy Kitchen experienced similar success.

Believe it or not, Jimmy’s first job was overnights at a Christian Radio Station. He claims he got into radio because like Rocky Balboa once said, “cause I can’t sing or dance.” Jimmy loves to write about all local happenings, especially around his town of Toms River.
