Surrounded By Pizza, Salad Comes To Silverton!

The marquee for Salad House went up this week right next to the previously written Pizza Hut, at 1882 Hooper Avenue in the Silverton section of Toms River.

Might I add, as a Silverton resident, it's not a moment too soon! The Silvertonians, or "Sillbillies", as we affectionately call ourselves, were beginning to grow restless. After all, As it has been written about here numerous times over the past year, when it comes to pizza places in town, the glutton of gluten is maddening! Furthermore, when Pizza Hut moved from its decades-old location a couple of miles up the road on Brick Boulevard, to a small storefront location with a drive-through on Hooper Avenue in the heart of Silverton, it only added to the mass pizza influx, and eye-rolling of residents wondering when is enough pepperoni enough???

Now, as fate would have it, the salad gods have spoken. The Salad House is coming! According to their corporate website, the Salad House is known for fresh, made-to-order customizable salad creations. In addition, they also offer award-winning sandwiches, wraps, soups, appetizers, and smoothies. Furthermore, their diverse and customizable menu appeals to a variety of diets and lifestyles, including vegan, vegetarian, paleo, keto, and gluten-free. In addition, Salad House will do its best to accommodate all food allergies.
