(WATCH) Jersey Rock Video of the Week: Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son “Called It Quits”
Rocking House Of Independents in Asbury Park Thursday June 14!
Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son have been on a serious roll as of late. After closing out the Jersey Rock Showcase Series with Wynward and The Taylor Tote Band at The River Rock in Brick on 3/8, the group released their self-titled album at the end of March. The new eponymous CD is full of youthful power and worldly experience. It is a fitting addition to the band’s growing catalog.

Following the release of their new album, Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son took their energetic stage show to Newark to open for a fellow New Jersey Band: Bon Jovi. They announced the gig on April 1, but it was not joke. Performing in front of a crowd of approximately 18,000, Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son did a phenomenal job of representing the Jersey Rock scene!
Don’t miss Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son on Thursday June 14 at House Of Independents in Asbury Park. The Burns, Tula Vera, and Mack are also on the bill with an acoustic performance from Tommy London & Matt Hogan. Tickets are $10 in advance and are available at houseofindependents.com.
“Called It Quits” is the lead single from Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son’s latest album. It’s an awesome tune that introduces the self-titled disc in a truly amped up fashion. The video compliments it perfectly. A bulk of the footage was shot at the Rock in Newark on April 11. The video was produced by Zack Morrison.
