Blue Lizard is a 4-piece Rock group from Ridgefield Park made up of family and friends. Cousins Ryan Lamon and Mikey O’Connor have played together since they were 10 and 7-years old. They spent 3 years jamming instrumentally with Joey Wamsley before they hooked up with singer Ryan Lamon. Having played a number of local venues, they’re ready to take their shot at making a mark on the Jersey Rock scene.
Blue Lizard’s influences include Stone Temple Pilots, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, Helmet, Incubus, and Sum41. The band describes their music as “…a classic, in your face, type of sound.” Blue Lizard’s debut album “Unsigned” is out now. You can score a download of the LP at bluelizardnj.com.

Blue Lizard’s video for “Drag” is intense, dark, and well-done. The band clearly put a lot of time and effort into planning and shooting a number of different scenes at various locations. The result is a strong visual composition that gets across a theme of building tension, culminating in confrontation
