Meeko Brando is a Post-Dance/Alternative Punk Rock Band from Trenton. The group’s influences include Interpol, Mars Volta, and The Talking Heads. Their sound has a rad 80’s feel to it, mixing guitar rifts with heavy synth.
Meeko Brando’s “Lemonade, Lemonade” album is out now. After working on the album at Aurora Studios in Lambertville, NJ, the band recorded “Lemonade, Lemonade” at Inner Ear Studios in Washington, DC. You can score a download of the release HERE.
On Monday 9/11 Meeko Brando will play The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park with The Cryptkeeper 5 and The Carousers. The show is 21+. Admision is FREE. More info HERE.
“Uh” is the lead single off Meeko Brando’s “Lemonade, Lemonade.” The video was produced by Scott Silvester and Douglas Gorti. It employs color-charged, green-screened silhouettes of the band, superimposed over what looks to be Japanese Anime. The result is a cool, visually-appealing video that matches the song well.
