(WATCH) Jersey Rock Video of the Week: Rachel Ana Dobken “Loner”

Indie/ Alternative Jazz Rocker Rachel Ana Dobken’s debut EP “Desire” is out now. She will be featured on the upcoming Asbury Park Summer Sampler Volume 2 and will rock the Knitting Factory in New York on 8/30. Indie Rocker Rachel Ana Dobken is a fresh face on the local scene.  Her music is described as “somewhere between Rock, Soul, Indie-Alt, and Jazz,” and is influneced by the likes of Paul Simon, Patsy Cline, and My Morning Jacket, amongst others. Rachel draws upon  her studies in Jazz drumming, vocals and guitar at Bard College to create a sound that is all her own.  

Rachel Ana Dobken’s debut EP “Detach” was released in June of 2016.  You can score a copy of the disc HERE.  She will also be featured on the upcoming Asbury Park Summer Sampler Vol. 2, which will be featured on Jersey Rock next week.
