The Three Story Grill Is Coming To Waretown
Fans of the Breakers Kitchen and Tap in Waretown, who were sad to see it close last year, will be excited to know that a new adventure is coming soon: The Three Story Grill!
According to their social media pages, the new owners and operators of the property at 537 Route 9 in Waretown, are non other than restaurant veterans the Jersey Shore Restaurant Group.
Over the past 15 years, the JSRG has been responsible for such successful eateries as Harpoon Willy’s Tavern in Manasquan in 2008.
Also Half Moon Point Tavern and Grill in Point Pleasant, in 2017.
The company now takes on its biggest project to date.
Meanwhile, the team has now set their sites on their most lofty adventure. Jersey Shore Restaurant Group acquired Breakers last year and expects to begin renovations this month. Work is scheduled to be completed in time for summer, according to a news release. Furthermore, the Three Story Grill will have three levels of indoor and outdoor dining. The third story also will serve as an observation deck. According to its owners, the restaurant aims to be a polished casual, family-friendly tavern and will feature a railcar room designed to mimic a classic railway carriage.
Moreover, attached to Three Story Grill, The Hall at Three Story will hold up to about 170 guests and will be available to book for weddings, corporate events and other large gatherings, the release states. Three Story Grill itself can accommodate smaller events with up to about 60 guests.
Here’s a little more about the Jersey Shore Restaurant Group.
The Jersey Shore Restaurant Group is comprised of three seasoned local entrepreneurs. CEO/CFO John Kitrick, Chief Of Facilities Jack Kane, and COO James Scarponi.
According to the company’s
website, the JSRG is always looking for a good opportunity to grow. The website states in part, “
The Jersey Shore Restaurant Group is more than a business; we’re a dynamic and growing entity passionate about cultivating exceptional dining experiences. We’re continuously seeking out new opportunities that reflect our commitments to quality, innovation, and hospitality. If you’re looking to sell your property. Or collaborate on a new restaurant venture, or discuss expansion and/or acquisition, we’re eager to dive into every exciting possibility.”
Finally, the JSRG doesn’t seem to be stopping at revamping just the Breakers this year. According to their website, they are now under contract for another restaurant property out in Robbinsville.
Believe it or not, Jimmy’s first job was overnights at a Christian Radio Station. He claims he got into radio because like Rocky Balboa once said, “cause I can’t sing or dance.” Jimmy loves to write about all local happenings, especially around his town of Toms River.
