The Quest for the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies On The Jersey Shore Are On This List

I did it again, I missed another national day of celebration. I accidentally blew off National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day because I was totally focused on going to see Metallica at MetLife Stadium this past Friday, if you know me, you completely understand.

I'm going to make up  for it  by finding a bunch of great places on the Jersey Shore for you to check out.

The quest for the best chocolate chip cookie is a journey that many of us embark upon.

It's a challenge that requires just a few things;  a love for this sweet treat, and a willingness to venture into unknown bakeries, cafes and specialty cookie stores.

National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day is a delightful celebration that highlights America's deep-rooted love for these delectable, sweet treats.

These chewy, melt-in-your-mouth cookies have become a symbol of comfort and indulgence, easily winning the hearts of Americans from all walks of life.

From classic homemade recipes passed down through generations to the countless variations found in local bakeries, cafes, and specialty cookie stores and kiosks,

These sought after sweet delights evoke memories of my childhood. I clearly remember when the aroma of freshly baked cookies filled the kitchen and the joy of biting into a warm chocolate-filled mouthful made everything seem right with the world.

As adults, they fill us with a sense of comfort when things go sideways, or we suffered one of life's little set backs.

Because I totally missed this special day,  l wanted to  take a moment to appreciate the magic that chocolate chip cookies bring to our lives.

Kimmee Masi doesn't mess around! This rockstar in music  and baking is best known for her super creative cupcakes. She also knows a thing or 10 about cookies. The chocolate chip cookies highlighted at Confections Of A Rockstar are called Vintage 77.

I used to go to a gym in the same plaza many years ago. The treadmill is my friend, but I'm even better friends with the confections at Chocolate Carousel. They make a host of baked goods as well as the best chocolate covered pretzels , cake pops, and beautiful custom cakes for all occasions, but don't you dare sleep on the JUMBO Chocolate Chip Cookies.

I was told That Crust & Crumb has The best chocolate chip cookie on LBI! They have built a strong community business by adding the personal touch  and creating excellent tasty products.  They close up shop for the season in October.

This place is just magnificent. Loaded with beautiful pastries, macarons, the best croissants (especially the chocolate almond), cream filled cookies of various flavors and textures, and so much more.  Their chocolate chip cookies are fabulous, an absolute must try.

Not just any ordinary chocolate chip cookies can be purchased here. You MUST try the Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie, mind altering goodness. Plus this place offers heavenly baked goods that are creative, unique, and oh so good!!
