(WATCH) Jersey Rock Video of the Week: The New Bardots “Great Balls Of Fire”
Rocking The Stone Pony in Asbury Park on 5/31!
They are a new band from the old school. The New Bardots is made up of veteran rockers Wayne Olivieri, Gar Francis, Dan Skye, and Johnny Rago. The band’s sound is truly classic and their self-imposed mission “to save Rock N’Roll from extinction,” is much more than mere lip service. The New Bardots are using funds generated by the sale of their new album to help produce a new generation of Jersey Rockers.
The New Bardots’ debut album “French Kisses” is out now on Bongo Boy Records. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the album benefit The Rockit Academy, a performing arts school in Red Bank focused on grooming young Rock musicians. “French Kisses” is available just about everywhere music is sold. Check it out at bongoboyrecords.com!
Don’t miss The New Bardots at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park on Friday 5/31! The evening wil also feature a performance from The Rockit Academy and The Bilsby Brothers. Doors are at 7:00 pm. It is an all ages show. Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com.
The New Bardots’ first music video is a killer cover of Jerry Lee Lewis’ “Great Balls Of Fire!” The set-up is very reminiscent of the Marty McFly’s audition scene from “Back To The Future,” and The New Bardots’ performance is seriously theatrical! Check it out!
