Rocking The Sayreville Knights of Columbus on 4/27!
Jammin’ for Jaclyn is an annual benefit concert with one goal: to help those in our are who are fighting cancer. Each year the event aids 2 local cancer patients. This year’s beneficiaries are Christina Davis and Carl Palestrini.
Jammin’ for Jaclyn is founded and organized by Ron and Denise Morgan and local musician Michael Squillace. The benefit concert returns to the Knights Of Columbus 2061, located at 775 Washington Road in Sayreville (Parlin) 08859 on Saturday 4/27. The event features 10 live acts, a 50/50 drawing, and door prizes. Admission is a minimum donation of $25, and includes a complimentary hot and cold buffet from over 50 eateries and a cash bar. The event is scheduled for 3:30 pm to midnight, however the bar will be open until 2:00 am.
Acts performing at Jammin For Jaclyn include John Walsh, Patsy Palma, Levy Okun of Levy & The Oaks, Amber Morgan, Jake Tavill And Indigo Soul, The FOG, Rocco & The MOB, Nick Ryan Band, Taylor Tote Band and Michael Squillace.
Jammin’ For Jaclyn not only raises money for local cancer patients, it also honors the memory of Michael Squillace’s sister Jaclyn, who bravely fought the disease. Michael Squillace will call in to Jersey Rock Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm. We’ll hear from a different act performing at the benefit each night. On Tuesday we’ll rock a track from Jake Tavill And Indigo Soul. Wednesday night we’ll crank a tune from Nick Ryan. On Thursday night we’ll close out the week with a brand new single from the Taylor Tote Band.
