Rocking The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park with The Melody Trucks Band on 8/12!

Fresh off a killer in-studio performance on the Jersey Rock Weekly Podcast, Matt O’Ree will be back in the WRAT studio this week to talk about his band’s upcoming show with The Melody Trucks Band at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park on Sunday 8/12.

Matt O’Ree Band can be described as a well-oiled Blues Rock jam machine.  Featuring a collection of highly skilled musicians, background singers and the occasional special guest, M.O.B performances are always an awesome experience. The band has a knack for extending their songs into full-on ear candy binges, both feeding off and providing energy to the crowd.  

While high expectations for M.O.B are always in order, there will be a rad new element on display on 8/12 that locals might not expect.  M.O.B will team with a member of Rock royalty for the first time on their home turf. Matt O’Ree Band’s new friends, The Melody Trucks Band is fronted by the daughter of legendary Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks.

The Melody Trucks Band was formed in 2017.  After touring with Butch Trucks and The Freight Train, Melody Trucks began her own Rock journey on the Jacksonville, Florida music scene.  Like the Jersey Rock scene, the Jacksonville Rock scene is a rich and diverse world of music. We look forward to seeing the two worlds collide on 8/12.
