Release Party & Music Video Shoot Rocks House Of Independents on Friday 8/25!
The Asbury Park Summer Sampler is back with a second volume of great local music! The disc features 12 tracks from NJ artists and provides a nice cross-section of established and up-and-coming acts on the Asbury Park scene. The sampler is put out by The Foundation Group, an organization based in Asbury Park that is actively involved in the local music scene, providing aid and exposure to both new and veteran Jersey Rockers.
Acts included on The Asbury Park Summer Sampler Vol. 2 are: Levy & The Oaks, Natalie Farrell, Foes Of Fern, Yawn Mower, Avery Mandeville, The Shady Street Show Band, Accidental Seabirds, Matthew Stephen, Little Vicious, Mario Troiano, The Mercury Brothers, Above The Moon, Beatrix Potter Band, and last week’s Jersey Rock Video of the Week artist Rachel Ana Dobken.
The disc will be celebrated at a special record release show at House of Independents in Asbury Park on Friday 8/25 with GayGuy/StraightGuy, Levy & The Oaks, Little Vicious, and Foes Of Fern/AveryMandeville/Natalie Farrell. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door and are available HERE. A free copy of The Asbury Park Summer Sampler Vol. 2 is included with Admission. Levy & The Oaks will also be shooting a new music video during their performance that evening.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear tracks from the upcoming Asbury Park Summer Sampler Vol. 2. Lou Panico of The Foundation Group and Levy & The Oaks will call in each night to talk about the new CD and upcoming show at House Of Independents.
