A Thief Makes Friends With A Family Dog Before He Robs Their House
What would you do if you found out someone was in your home while you were away, and they robbed the place?
I know what I’d do, but I can’t say, because it would upset or offend a few people.
Then you realize the uninvited perp entered through an open garage door. You’d feel like a dumbass.
A suspected bike thief in California was seen halting his crime to pet and cuddle with the homeowner’s golden retriever.
They found out by checking the footage of their home surveillance.
The best part is when the homeowner’s golden retriever shows up on camera to greet the burglar and as the thief was about to make off with the bike, he stops to pet and play with the dog.
Check out the surveillance footage here:
According to the San Diego Police Department’s Facebook page, an unidentified guy entered a garage at a home in San Diego’s Pacific Beach neighborhood at about 10:40 p.m. on July 15 to reportedly steal a pricey 2019 black Electra 3-speed bicycle, which has an estimated cost of $1,300 bucks.
But when the thief was about to make his getaway with the stolen bike, the homeowner’s pup shows up in the garage and the thief stops his crime and pets the cute doggie.
The guy pulls the bike back into the garage and starts to pet the dog and give him belly rubs, which is seen on the home surveillance cameras.
The guy tells the dog how cool he is saying, “You’re the coolest dog I’ve ever known. I love you, too. You’re a sweetheart.”
After the guy was done petting the dog, he took off with the bike.
According to the San Diego Police department’s Facebook page: The suspect is described as a white male, last seen wearing a blue and white hat, gray shirt, blue shorts, and orange athletic shoes, carrying a black and blue backpack.
The suspect is still on the lam and the cops are asking the public to come forward with any tips on the case.
