Lakehouse Music Academy has announced the date for their block party.

WRAT

Pretty stoked at the stoke video that the crew at Lakehouse Music Academy posted the other day!  It was the announcement that their Block Party was coming back in May.  Check out the fun sizzle video below!

The Jersey Shore has come to know the Lakehouse Music Academy as more than a top notch local recording studio.  The crew at Lakehouse do an amazing job of giving local kids and adults a chance to see what the whole music inspired life is all about.  The educational programs at Lakehouse provide inspiration and goal oriented learning for Jersey Shore kids.  While the program is educational, the vibe is fun and entertaining.  Kids learn all about the music, not just how to play the instrument.  Lakehouse music also provides guidance on song writing, live performance and how the music industry actually works.

In addition to the recording space and the music education programs, Lakehouse has practice rooms that local bands use to perfect their own skills.  In other words, over the last decade or so Lakehouse Music Academy has worked it's way into the fabric of the local music scene.

What Is The Block Party?

Have a peek at a previous year via their Insta, the announcement of this year's block party is below.

This year the Lakehouse Block Party will be held on May 18th.  They take over the small parking area across the street from their location on Lake Avenue in Asbury Park.  They'll place a stage in that area and welcome local businesses to attend.  Food and drink are available and local vendors usually make their crafts available.  Entertainment on the stage includes some of the bands that have worked their way up and through the Lakehouse Academy system.  A full list of performers are likely forthcoming in the weeks before the event.

They released a cool sizzle video from previous events to get the word out:

When Carl is not working at the greatest rock radio station known to mankind; a station known around the globe; a station that has the best music, co-workers, advertisers and most importantly THE BEST F'N LISTENERS you may find me doing any one of the following: Riding or making mountain bike trails. playing with his kids. playing sand volleyball on 5th Ave, cooking amazing food, including on his sweet smoker grill, going to concerts, swimming in the ocean, going to amusement parks with his kids, and other stuff that rocks!
