Hit a festival at Laurita Winery.

Bike the entire length of Island Beach State Park.
7 miles each way. 14 miles round trip. Seems a bit much, but he you can stop and check out the ocean beach or the bayside. Plus the road is very flat, so there isn’t much uphill riding. Besides, there is a bar now at one end, and a beautiful Barnegat Lighthouse view at the other. Not too shabby!
Hit up Monmouth Park Racetrack.
The ponies run in Oceanport from May through September and it’s a great way to locally celebrate your birthday. Still very affordable when you consider parking, entry fee, and programs are all under 10 dollars. Plus you might come out rich! Or at least even, if you halfway know what you’re doing.
Check out the Bluegrass Jams at Albert Music Hall in Waretown.
They are cookin’ up the Bluegrass tunes every Saturday night at Albert Hall. From the main room to the shed, it’s a blast to hear and see. Heck, if you have the chops you can even join in!
The music happens on Saturday Nights from 5:30 til about 9.
