Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Deaf Rhino
Rocking Maxwell’s in Hoboken on 6/23!
High-octane hard-rockers Deaf Rhino return to Jersey Rock this week! The band has a great new single and equally awesome new music video ready for release.
If you managed to catch Deaf Rhino at The Jersey Rock Showcase at The Wonder Bar back in February, you witnessed a powerful, energetic performance. If you missed them last winter, you have a great opportunity to see them coming up. Deaf Rhino will bring their raucous brand of Hard Rock to Maxwell’s in Hoboken this Friday 6/23. They’re on the bill with The Last Internationale, and Chevonne and The Fuzz. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door and are available HERE.
Before Deaf Rhino takes the stage at Maxwell’s on Friday, they will release a brand new single and music video entitled “Snakeskin.” The track was produced by Joel Hamilton of Highly Suspect at Studio G in Brooklyn and features Sasha Dobson of Puss N Boots on backing vocals. The video for the track was produced by The Film Forge. It’s beautifully shot, with a Film Noir look and a violent Tarantino-inspired vibe. The video will go live on Deaf Rhino’s Youtube Channel at 9AM on Tuesday 6/20. Click the link below on that day to view the video for “Snakeskin.”
You can hear “Snakeskin” and two other great tracks on Jersey Rock this week. Singer/Rhythm Guitarist Adam Schlett will call in to the show at 11:30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to discuss the new single, video, and the band’s upcoming performance in Hoboken.
The Summer of 2017 will no doubt be a busy one for Deaf Rhino. In addition to their new releases and upcoming shows, they will also close out 95.9 The Rat’s Jersey Rock Live At The Pier acoustic concert series at Pier Village in Long Branch on 8/14. Learn more about the event HERE.
