New Jersey Is The Second Best Place To Live In The Country
Seriously? Apparently so!
New Jersey is the second best place to live in the country.
We are number two behind Massachusetts.
The ranking was done by WalletHub.com.
You’re not going to believe it, but they took into account the amount we pay in taxes AND traffic congestion and still put us at number two!
So, how did Wallet Hub come to this conclusion? They took into account housing costs, the general cost of living, education rate, unemployment rate, household income… even property taxes. And after it was all said and done, their panel of experts have New Jersey at number two!
No offense, but once they included taxes and cost of living, I figured we’d be way down on the list, like down near Venezuela. But apparently, the good stuff about our state outweighs the bad!
So, what’s that good stuff that outweighed all that bad?
The good stuff included amount of crime and personal safety, amount of police, entrepreneurial activity, job opportunity and other recreational things like amount of fitness, our incredible weather, amazing biking and hiking trails, the wonderful number of great and unique restaurants and bars, entertainment venues for concerts and shows, and our proximity to beaches. You know: ALL THE STUFF WE LOVE ABOUT JERSEY!
So, eat it haters! Take a friggin’ hike and get the fug outta here. Problem is, once the word gets out on how great the Garden State is a bunch of losers from the bottom barrel states are going to descend on our Shangri-La like the insipid vultures they are… So, no one tell nothing to anybody about this article.
