Yesterday would have been the great Chris Cornell‘s birthday. He was born on July 20th, 1964.
Chris was truly one of the greatest singers in rock history. Whether it was his brilliant work with Soundgarden, his emotional music with Temple Of The Dog, his passionate singing with Audioslave, or his fantastic solo material…Chris was one of the deepest and most talented artists to emerge in the 1990’s.
He will be missed. Check out his rather beautiful version of Guns ‘N’ Roses‘ “Patience” below. And RIP, Chris.
